Get Trained: Street Ministry 101

TO EFFECTIVELY LOVE AND SERVE THE OVERLOOKED IN OUR CITIES

Street Ministry 101 is a course designed to train and equip the Church to care for the marginalized on the streets by blending psychology with Christian faith for practical application.

Created in conjunction with psychologists from the Chicago School of Psychology, SM101 will give you the tools to address the underlying issues of poverty to create change right where you live.

Classes cover topics such as:

Understanding Homelessness, Mental Health, Drugs, and Addiction, Crisis Intervention & Violence, Trauma, Relational Evangelism, hands-on application and more!

 

Want to get trained?

Option 1: Attend a 4-week SM101 course in Los Angeles. Classes total 12 hours, 10 of classroom and 2 hours of practical application. $50 for the full course, or $15 per class.

*The next 4-week course will take place August 3, 17, 24 and 31 from 11am-2pm in Hollywood.  Location and sign-up details to follow…

Option 2: We’ll come to you! Host a training at your church/organization in your city, and Broken Hearts will work with you to come teach anywhere from a shortened 1-day course, to the full 4-week course at. OR, some organizations prefer to use our curriculum and teachers with some of their own local experts/resources, in which case class costs will be reduced.
